What do you guys think of the change from pay service Showtime to network CBS?

I'm really hoping a fight of this magnitude + a unification bout really draws a good network rating.

They said they wanted the fight on CBS to get a wider viewer range for the fight.

That may be a smart idea, because not everyone has showtime and by putting it on their sister network CBS it can maximize their viewership 10 fold. Just not sure how true that tweet is, because i cant find any news of this anywhere else.

Isn't Ring Magazine owned by Danny's promoter?

De La Hoya owns ring Magazine, Danny is with PBC. i was just questioning it because Showtime is already advertising the fight for showtime, but its certainly possible that they changed it over to CBS. Maybe the scene will have something about it in the next few hours.

Well it filters out Boxing Scene from the link so it's not working, but the story is up at the scene right now.
