Actually the governments are lying because through insider trading they sold us out to corporations who actually have profited massively from this pandemic. All the small businesses are dying, guys like Amazon are growing hugely and bankers can profit by hoovering up shorts against our economies and boom they profit massively for our failures. Understand how expedient it is for corrupt politicians and rich people to profit from this.
This is easy to grasp, bet you think locking down healthy people has always been the correct way to deal with a pandemic and that a cloth mask stops a virus from entering your body too.

You dummies really think its totally safe for people to go to the grocery store but not walk into a restaurant without a mask? Then be able to take it off once you sit down....hahahahaha.

 

You clearly have no idea how the real world works if you think this response to a pandemic was ever appropriate. 250,000 is not that large a number of deaths, especially when only about 40,000 of them were from covid alone and affected the unhealthy mostly (hence the term unhealthy, they're primed for death).
Look at who can profit from this and how and then you find the answers as to why this response ever happened.

 

No you see it makes perfect sense that you can cherry pick when and where people can remain active because reasons. The media told me there's a scientific consensus, shutting down all the conspiracy theorising doctors and scientists who oppose this, so it must be true!
We're dealing with people who have the mentalities of children, just absorb the bs information they give you and accept it as fact, it really is that easy to dupe these people. Not an ounce of critical thought once you give them the heebie-jeebies.

 

There's two issues with COVID

1) the mortality rate is too high to be left unchecked, look at the excess deaths when compared with last year.

2) the percentage of people who need hospital treatment is too high to be left unchecked, look at the hospital capacities being close to full.

I don't know what the solution is, but I do know this, me, my wife and my kid had it a couple of weeks ago, no major symptoms. A lot of my family have had it very recently or currently have it, including a grandfather in his late 80s, no major symptoms. The worst sufferer I personally know has described it like a bad flu and has been wiped energy wise, but hasn't required hospital treatment. I don't personally know anyone who's been in hospital due to Covid.

I also know I've had it recently enough that if I die in a car crash tomorrow, I will be a Covid death.

But the national picture is what it is, hospitals can't cope, the virus is too contagious and too prevalent. It spreads very quickly, very easily, and even if only 5% need hospital treatment it's still too high for hospitals to cope with.

I don't know what the answer is, but I'm happy doing my bit to help keep the country safe as the people advising the government have studied this a lot more than some people on a boxing forum, if they say following the guidance can save lives, I'm happy doing that.

 

Theres more to a virus than just death mate , u wouldnt have a clue, stick to boxing discussion, you may have more of an idea.

 

I know a healthy 30 year old woman who suffered for weeks. She could barely breath and she didn't eat properly for weeks.

While the younger generation can handle it better, the virus can still cause lung damage and damage to other parts of the body.

 

The advice for doing the lockdown was based on advice from China... Who lied about the spread of covid in their country. Hospitalisations were so low and that's why doctors have suddenly realised that this response wasn't due for the issue at hand. No one is saying covid shouldn't be a concern to those at risk but everyone else should be allowed to go about as normal. You're supposed to quarantine the sick and vulnerable, not the healthy.
Doctors didn't advise this response at this point, only panicking politicians have done so based on nonsense info that's constantly being reneged on by the WHO.
