I don't use social media so that whole theory you created is just wrong. I don't get any information on covid from memes, I get it from health experts.
You get your information from the TV and think it's somehow legitimate so tell me again how gullible I am, I'm really going to think that's a valid point coming from you. Slowing the spread of a virus as infectious as this (where we can bizarrely go out to do certain things still) is not feasible and also pointless given its relative harmlessness.
We have the seasonal flu do very similar things yet it never ever garnered this ridiculous overreaction. At the start they were saying this had ebola levels of lethality. Bet you bought all the falsely high death numbers too. This method of prevention is proven not to work at this point and I can't believe you're stupid enough to believe it does.

 

It's a risk people have been taking all their lives just by living. There are many more much deadlier diseases than covid going around yet you hear no fearmongering about it. No one lives their lives like this over the flu or even tuberculosis which is genuinely a deadly disease. Seriously, all it takes is to scare you with some nonsense figures and anecdotes and you suddenly think stripping away people's freedoms is an appropriate response.

We must take preventive measures, that is a given. But what we are currently doing is proved to not work.
Governments are using "the second wave" as an excuse to repeat the same mistakes.
After the second wave we will surely have another one.
And maybe down the line, a 4th wave.

 

Every time they lock down all the big businesses the politicians are beholden too are rubbing their hands together and cackling at our misfortune as we're all relegated to only shopping with or using their services again while every mom and pop shop is closed down.
Bet all the big investors who were notified of this manufactured economic downturn are also rubbing their hands together at the prospect of their insider trading on short stocks paying off for them.
It's truly a ****ing rigged game when tactics like these are so easy to employ.

But the spread of the virus is slowing, and national health services are avoiding being overwhelmed, which decreases loss of life.

Seasonal flu doesn't kill as many nor endanger the health services as much.

The only death figures you need to worry about are excess deaths.

But by all means, all you sheeple keep bleating on about not wearing masks, not socially distancing and not taking vaccines lol.
