Well I guess you can call me Quasimodo. Good video Rummy, and yes, Fury should be scared ****less. Here's my post fight gloating/breakdown. Garcia vs. Haney: A Cautionary Tale Against Buying Into Groupthink Foregone Conclusion Narratives.
Nice work as usual Rummy. I watched the fight again and am shocked Garcia couldn’t finish Haney. He was there for the taking in the 11th. It was a good fight but I’m having trouble liking Garcia. He won and I was hoping he’d show some class. He’s young and is a bit of a punk. I am also not a fan of Haney. While I’m glad Garcia won this fight, I don’t see myself rooting for him in the future. Unless he fights Tank again, then I’ll root for Ryan G. Also, Garcia is still a headcase. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him lose to a scrub in his next fight.
Ryan is still undisciplined and his focus goes up and down. He probably should have finished Haney in the 12th but he was out there showboating and playing to the crowd instead of going for the kill. He has legit talent but I still don't think he'll ever reach his potential.
wow you picked Ryan to win? That’s Impressive! I Won “good money” on Ryan decision Because of the odds but wasn’t sure he actually would.
Yes, and I also picked Jimenez to beat Ramirez on the same card, so Saturday was a very good night for me. It certainly soothed some of that pulsating residual rage I felt after Lemos, who I picked to beat Hitchins, not only was a victim of highway robbery, but was ran over by the judges multiple times as well.
A strange fight. Fighters of two different categories fought (at the weigh-in), and I don't know if they were the same category in the ring. In any case, congratulations to Garcia on a well-deserved win. However, Haney was on the floor for the first time in his career. And not once on the floor, but 3 times.
