Matthysse. Quite probably by TKO or else by UD after scoring a knockdown or 2, I wouldn't be totally surprised if it went the distance.

    I think Matthysse.

One thing the Garcia vs. Judah fight showed, is that Garcia's power isn't 'unstoppable'.

Also, the Khan fight (up until the first knock down) showed the limitations of Garcia.

That's why I'm going with Matthysse

Garcia is one demensional and doesn't move his damn head at all. Lucas has more bounce to his step and is a great accurate counter-puncher, and not that no look wild swinging a** s**t like garcia.

lucas by ko. i dont know why nobody ever mentions his great footwork, he slips so many punches by just bouncing out of reach and then puts himself in range to throw his own punches, all with good footwork.

It has to be Matthysse by early-mid KO

lucas fights on the front foot and is very wide open when he throws. danny doesn't move his head much but is very good about blocking or rolling with shots to take something off of them. if you go back and watch the khan fight...you'll see that danny didn't get hit as much as the commentators made it seem. he was actually landing very early and timing khan who was way faster. danny can get careless at times but for the most part is really good about sticking to game plans. i think a lot of ppl are mesmerized by matthysse because he's put together a nice string of ko's. i think he did what he was supposed to with that opposition...so it wasn't exactly spectacular. both guys are very good counter punchers. i think danny can fight more ways than one and will use his intelligence to win this fight. i wouldn't be surprised if either guy wins by ko but i'm picking danny by ko.

Problem is, Khan is more vulnerable to those shots and more vulnerable to a scrap than Matthysse is, thats his bread and butter,Matthysse hitting Danny will not be the same as Khan hitting Danny, Danny has multiple dimensions but he is just "good" at every one, that works against a lot of fighters, but I don't think Matthysse will be the one.

I think this is a nightmare fight for Garcia

I think matthysse is favourite. But if i had to put money on it, i would put it on garcia because potential winnings would be much greater and i think he has a better shot at winning than many people think.

Balance will be the key. Matthysse can be all over the palce at times when he swings for the trees and if garcia times him, it could be lights out. Garcia for all his wild swinging does have better balance, although quite flat flooted it works for him.

I'm just hoping they dont find that beef steroid on matthysse, so the fight can go ahead.

Just put a £100 on Garcia points win. He can handle his power, and if it goes past 6 he will stack up the rounds I feel. To easy to say Matthysse KO. Judah/Alexander went the distance, is Garcia any worse than those two? Nope.

GOLDEN BOY RESCHEDULES GARCIA-MATTHYSSE PRESS TOUR

The Danny Garcia and Lucas Matthysse press tour that was scheduled to start momentarily was rescheduled. According to Richard Schaefer, Lucas is in the "boonies" in Argentina and didn't want to break camp. The press tour had stops in New York, Los Angeles and Puerto Rico. Now the stops will be New York and Philadelphia on August 22, and then on August 23 they hit Los Angeles to round out the 3 city event.

I'm gonna be the odd man out and go by Garcia by decision.
Scenario Garcia hurts Matthysse while trading and Matthysse
will have nothing to fall back on and go into retreat mode to
    survive.
