Garcia-Matthysse is the fight I would love to see at 140, I've been saying it all day (http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=13352683). It would be a great war until Matthysse got the stoppage.

I still don't think it'll happen until its signed, sealed and delivered though.

 

I hate seeing Judah get all these shots, but tbh he probably does over a lot of other fighters in that division now. Paris was rated in the top irc b4 Judah beat him.

 

I'd love to see Matthysse against Garcia. I'd pick Matthysse in about 9 rounds.

 

On the 'Scene article, Schaeffer says Matthyse is set to fight Ajose who is the long standing manditory for the WBC belt Garcia picked up. If Lucas takes the W in that one then he is right in line to fight Garcia (unless Garcia vacates).

 

I dont think garcia is ready for matthysse just yet,

id rather see him fight rios next - thatd be a good test to see if hes ready for matthysse

 

Certainly makes stylistic and promotional sense.

Though, from the build up perspective, I'd like to see Rios-Garcia. Papi Garcia and Rios on Kellerman's 'Faceoff' are made for tv.

Garcia isn't ready for Matthysse. VERY high risk for not much reward. I'm thinking he fights Judah in New York. Maybe a double header with Cotto's comeback fight

 

Cote-Garcia would be rather explosive, as well.
