I can honestly see Garcia running like hell From Provodnikov once he notices he just cant keep Ruslan off of him . Too bad he will never fight Ruslan .
Why do you think Garcia would be running from Provo? I think he proved he is not scared to take a challenge by taking Mathysse who was regarded as a beast and kinda still is. This would be hell of a fight. Both man has losses against el Maestro. Danny only has judges in his pockets.
Matthyse came straight at him, tried to rough him up and landed his best shots and Garcia are tehm up like skittles. What makes you think Provo would be different?
Garcia hits hard and although not a Marquez he has respectful counterpunching ability behind that power...Tough fight for Provo...but also for Garcia if he has trouble keeping Provo off him. interesting style matchup. Garcia & Matthysse are above Provo in my eyes....Khan, Bradley and even Alexander should be able to outbox him on their top form.
1 . Matthysse eye was completely shut . 2 . Matthysse in the first 3 rounds showed Garcia a lot of respect by NOT jumping on him right away . 3. Ruslan does not know the meaning of respect and probably does not even know how to spell respect . 4 . Ruslan will swarm Garcia from the opening bell , and ATTACK, ATTACK and ATTACK . 5 . Garcia will not be able to hurt or Keep Ruslan off of him and he will get mentally/physically broken down .
That Khan can outbox Provodnikov? Everytime people says Khan is going to get KTFO (Maidana, Judah, Collazo even Peterson) he doesn't...Khan's biggest threat in that fight is not Provo's power...but Roach guiding Provo to that chin...the only thing Khan lacks compared to Bradley and Alexander is that holy iron chin fortunatly for Khan the guys with big power seem to have trouble boxing...Maidana would probably knock him out in a rematch though.
Garcia is not scared to take a challenge , I agree . I just don't think we will ever hear "Danny Garcia signs to fight Ruslan Provodnikov !" I just cant see that happening... Im pretty sure Garcia has already been offered this fight more than once . I mean , it makes sense both guys are champions . But its just not going to happen . Provodnikov will be avoided by Garcia .

i see provo taking it but i don't think he walks through him. danny boy can take a shot and give one back. i just don't think he can do it all night with ruslan and i don't think he can stay away long enough to avoid it. good scrap though. everyone brings up lucas but i think ruslan stops lucas before he stops danny. just my opinion.
I got Danny by close decision, he has already proved he can take a beastly shot on the chin, and is the better boxer than Provo
