I couldn't agree more. Promoting a fight is one thing but this is beyond the pale. It's easy to talk sh*t when your ass isn't going to be on the line. I guess I don't know what constitutes a "G" but to me, Angel is an ignorant, loud-mouthed punk.
oh no dear god. lmao! 147 is a joke of division used to be great. How long can all these guys avoid each other one way or another.
This is one instance where Angel Garcia provoking Thurman won't help...Thurman is not Khan. He has power and always relies on his boxing. He knows Danny very well and respects him as does Danny respect Kieth...Angel ranting is just motivation for a guy like Kieth...only thing in his way will be injuries.
All you angel Garcia fans who love his ****ishness are now his enemies because he used the N word over and over. He's always been a **** and is a KO waiting to happen.
Angel Garcia like his son steps up huge in getting his job done against favored opponents. He succeeds every time in getting the other guy riled up and wanting to hurt Danny rather than stick to a gameplan that could win them the fight. He doesn't help create fans for Danny with stuff like this though.
Its so loosely interpreted these days, I know growing up it was used as a term of endearment, an insult or just a basic identifier of a person you didn't know personally. I believe the original idea was weaken its historical impact and significance by over utilizing it and drowning out it original purpose. Anywho....if you haven't found yourself in an inner city within the US then the usage of the word might shock you.
Angel Garcia can say what the hell he wants. It serves it's purpose, thurman mindset is now all over the place. The same thing happened with Judah.
Saying its a joke of a division is pretty harsh dont you think? Thurman, Brook, Porter, are 3 of the top 5 of the division (with the other two being pac and bradley probably) And weve had Thurman vs Porter, Brook vs Porter, and Thurman vs Porter. With Thurman vs Garcia still a meaningful fight at this point, and Brook vs Spence still being a possibility. Idk... seems like an ok division to me and not really an unusual lack of infighting between its top 10 compared to other divisions. In fact, I could be completely off base but I bet if we looked at some of the top 10 in other divisions, welterweight actually stacks up quite nicely when talking about how many fights between two top 10 opponents have happened in the last couple years.
Shouldn't be allowed near a camera or microphone at all. Low class behaviour. If you want to talk smack it needs to be funny. No one wanted to be there after that.
See, that's a good plan. Make the word powerless by not taking offence to it. The only people I've ever met that took offense to it were middle class white girls and fat white guys that decided to take offense on black's behalf.
Feels like no top tier vs top tier. Bradley Pac is still the last one really...lot of jerking off waiting for Pac Floyd which finally happened in 2015...it was just a lot of high calibre fighters essentially waiting around for Floyd or Pac to choose them(and alot of sub-tier opponents they were)... Now finally in 2017 there is abit more freedom but everyone is retiring & new faces are coming about...Brook finally made a name for himself with a win against Porter...then fought 3 lower calibre fighters...waiting so long that a whole new era of fighters will be coming in to take place...oh and now he can barely make 147 probably only for Khan - but I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen at a catchweight of 150 at the end of the year after Khan realizes he is shot in his fifth "comeback" fight and that Arum ain't giving him Pac or Bradley. forget the past lets just have a year of Bradley, Spence, Brook, Khan, Bradley, Pac, Garcia, Thurman & Porter. against each other maybe?
