It depends what version of Ortiz shows up. I seriously think he's potentialy World Class if he grows a brain and some nuts.
I'd expect the Ortiz from the Berto fight to win but if it's the Maidana or Fmj Ortiz he will have the towel thrown in or take a knee for more than ten probably. He'd have to get a fair beating in beating Cotto and depends if he's willing to take it or not.

 

It would probably be a very fun match-up, Cotto VS either Ortiz or Berto. I'd favour Cotto in both, of course.

 

Fun, fun fight. Both strong as hell. Vic will take a thorough beating late in the fight, but first rounds Ortiz can be dangerous for Cotto. This new Cotto fights smarter and doesn't fight like a damaged fighter. there is no such "ortiz from the berto fight' ortiz is ortiz. excuses are excuses.

 

Would be a pretty good fight. Cotto's not hard to get to and Ortiz could well inflict damage early on. But ultimately it'll come down to experience and skill and I think Cotto will be too much for him. Either a decision or a later stoppage depending on how Ortiz reacts to his punches.
