Who has Linares beat though? Just saying, Linares looks great but in all his big fights vs evenly matched opponents finds a way to lose. I have a feeling undersized Rigo would break Duke Campbell's jaw. Side note: Look at Linares' boxrec pic both eyes are looking a different direction. What's up with some Pros having this I don't want this sh1t
Oscar Larios might be his best win. Beat Wayne McCullough, Israel Vasquez, Takahiro Ao, Cesar Soto (who has wins over Jose luis Castillo, Agapito Sanchez, Luisito Espinosa etc) etc.. Larios also fought Pac to a decision in 06 in a very good tear up: This content is protected
Not surprised. Garcia posse always tend to go for the Latino with a fight pick unless it's an obvious mismatch. Kinda like on the Mayweather channel most tend pick the black dude. I guess it's a natural bias to your own. I always go for the Thai guy though!
My thoughts are that he's wrong and that this is a very easy one to call. This will be a long to mid-range battle in center ring, and Lomachenko is a grade above at that game. It shouldn't surprise me that some are treating this like a pick 'em, but it still kinda does. In truth, for all the gross overstatement of the Venezuelan's ability in some quarters (which weirdly persists, despite a considerable amount of empirical contradicting evidence), all Linares represents for Loma is a decent, respectable start to a 135 campaign. It shouldn't be hailed as a titanic feat when he deals with this guy rather handily.
