I'm reading this fight is in the works.

Big step back for Murray, unless he see's it as a tune up.

    i've heard this as well.

Murray doesn't need to be wasting his time with this class of opponent if it's being seriously considered. WTF is Hatton up to? this makes no sense what so ever. Murray has his name out there on the big stage, but just isn't getting the dates to fight.

Murray needs to do what's best for him and get rid of Hatton. because he isn't doing his career any favours with this silliness.

to cap it all off, the fight might take place in Australia. sad.

Apparently its for the Interim WBA title, Murray would be getting good coin to come out here in November. I don't think Wood can pull it off though.

If the fight was in the UK Wood has no chance as he would get Disqualified but with our dodgy officiating in Australia he may be able to wrestle his way to a cheap victory but I doubt it, I hope Murray KO's the grub.

Great fight. Very rarely do we see someone in their prime, like Martin Murray, visit this country.

Not a bad holiday for Murray, get a decent pay day KO a pretty average brawler and head to Bondi beach for a swim and 1000 schooners

Maybe Murray is eying a Mundine fight down the track and is just coming over to steal the blue print off Garth Wood.

I don't think so either but they said that when he fought Mundine. Let's hope he can cause another upset. Good luck Garth.:good

Wood will be the third best fighter on Murray's resume. This could end up being a lot more evenly matched than people think. Murray by decision.

Renda, Butler, Khomitsky, and Blackwell...so more like fifth best.

I just can't see Wood bothering Murray in any way.
