    Magsayo is just a power puncher. He was out box in his last fight and bailed out with a late KO. In this fight he is winning, at least in my eyes , from volmne against a one arm opponent.

    Magsayo went for the KO early in the last round, not content to leave it up to judges. Noble intent, but Russell was able to plug him in the belly with a bunch of counter lefts...and get himself on the scoreboard for the first time on my card, by the skin of his teeth.

    Magsayo's lack of experience and ring IQ needs to be fixed fast. Happy for him but he's not going to be champ long unless he/Roach really work his game.

    Russell is a super talented boxer but he's been a terrible champion, lets hope theres no pbc al haymon special here.

    he will be better vs his next oponent if his oponent is orthodox. His problem today was GRJ being southpaw, magsayo didnt know what to do. Had GRJ been orthodox I dont think he would have ended the fight.

    203-64 edge in jabs for Magsayo. Russell had 22 each in rounds 1 & 2, 17 in the 3rd, and then 3 in the rest of the fight (zero from the sixth onward).
