    Round 1 Vélez 10-9, close
    Round 2 Vélez 10-9

Both men landing bombs still, trading left hooks to the head and body, Jayson rocked him late with two nasty straight rights.

A pair of "Gary A. Russells" already fought and won on the undercard. (middle name Antonio by DQ6, and middle name Antuanne via KO1)

IB funfact: all five sons of Gary Allen Russell Sr. and his wife Lawan all box, all have the first name Gary, and technically none of them is a "Jr ". The famous one, headlining tonight and nicknamed "Mister", is listed on his birth certificate as "Gary Allen Russell II", and has a younger brother named Gary Allen Russell III, while the other three all have different middle names.

Why five sons with the same name and middle initial? Well, they were clearly doing a hell of a lot of porking, were Gary St. and Lawan - doesn't leave a hell of a lot of time (nor oxygen in the brain or hydration) for creative thinking. :sisi1

    RD 2: Velez 20-18

This was pretty even and then Velez landed those two huge shots and clowned Arboleda at the end.

Arboleda throwing hard wild swings and missing. Its getting close and if he lands it might be over. Velez is working him pretty good through 3 though.

Velez letting his hands go, but the pop has left his punches, Jaime started landing in combination late, and may have rocked Velez a time or two with left hooks.

Arboleda is doing stuff but Velez is just outboxing him and landing hard shots.

    RD 4 Arboleda 37-39

Arboleda has decided that Velez can't hurt him and he's apparently right; walked right through Velez' tricks and just punched the crap out of him.
