Also that Rigo vs Solis fight was pretty bizarre. Solis started out very solid and it went up **** creek afterwards. Why didn't stop being aggressive?

More a case of Rigo decided to box again.

Also, I find a lot of fighters become more gun shy when they realise that Rigo can really crack

GRJ going on about Loma again lol.. he'd get his ass paddled.. anyway I just watched the fight, Russell did show some signs of fatigue in the latter stages of this bout, but his early work was enough to secure a legit win for me.. the Mongolian kid will come again.. good fighter.. Provodnikov esque.. GRJ is becoming another Adonis Stevenson in that he's a world class long reigning WBC champion who's wasting his prime years somewhat..

I know it looks hypocritical of me using Compubox, because it's not all that accurate, but it's not all that far off either and..... I'm trying to prove a point here. So bear with me.:sisi1

    Here's the Compubox Stats.

Here's my scorecard with the number of landed punches beneath it.

    Round 1 Russell 10-9
    8/4 Russell - Matches Up

    Round 2 Russell 10-9
    9/5 Russell - Matches Up

    Round 3 Russell 10-9
    8/3 Russell - Matches Up

    Round 4 Russell 10-9
    10/9 Russell - Matches Up

    Round 5 Nyambayar 10-9
    8/7 Tug - Matches Up

    Round 6 Nyambayar 10-9
    9/6 Tug - Matches Up

    Round 7 Nyambayar 10-9
    15/14 Russell - Tug landed 13 to Russell's 11 Power Punches.

    Round 8 Russell 10-9
    11/4 Russell - Matches Up

    Round 9 Nyambayar 10-9
    17/12 Tug - Matches Up

    Round 10 Nyambayar 10-9
18/15 Russell - Tug's shots had more effect, Russell was visibly rocked.

    Round 11 Nyambayar 10-9
21/20 Russell - Damn near even.

    Round 12 Nyambayar 10-9
    14/9 Tug - Matches Up

    115-113 Nyambayar

    114-114 is fine as well.

So.... was my card that far off? Or do I have just that keen an eye for landed punches.

Regardless, it really does expose how ridiculously biased all the people that scored it 116 112 or wider were being. Especially when you consider everybody gave Tug the 10th.

Haha. The Pine Box, Seattle. Former mortuary turned bar. Very cool spot, as is his grave site here.

Because Rigondeaux stopped standing forehead to forehead, flat footed. Once Rigo started to use his legs, Solis couldn't do ****, but follow him around and whiff repeatedly.
