When I think I've seen the worst boxing can offer I'm surprised again. That stoppage may very well have been the worst I've ever seen,,,,,,,thoughts?
It certainly looked like a bad stoppage on TV and I believe it was bad. The one thing I will say is that we were not looking into Barthelemy's eyes like the ref was. I am sure he saw something he didn't like but whatever he saw, he misinterpreted it.
I get what you're saying, but the ref did not ask him to step to the side, ask if he wanted to continue, asked if he was OK. The only thing the ref asked was for Barthelemy to walk to him, which he did on command.
It was the first fight one of my friends watched, and he was super confused lol. Had to explain to him that **** like this in boxing is normal along with shady scorecards.
Just watched it. Ridiculous. I swear, some of these refs think people pay to see them wave off fights. If you are going to stop a fight like that, you should look for another line of work. Ruined a good fight. What a clown
Obvious corruption. The over under was 6.5. And GAR is a fighter they’re trying to keep the KO streak intact. It’s all money. All money.
You can see that Barthelemy was hurt to start. He got up and walked wobbling and stiff-legged for a few seconds but he certainly seemed fine when the ref waved it off.
If you think this was a bad stoppage explain to me why he gets up, turns his back and walks away from the referee? Its either because he was hurt and didnt know what he was doing and if he wasnt he quit. He didnt follow protocal whatsoever. explain
