Up jabs by Mendy. Pryce is walking straight into them, with his fists cupped against his jowls, uselessly. Pryce isn't getting his hands up high enough to keep the jabs off his face. Mendy is now putting right hands to the body behind them. Pryce is giving ground and getting hit, and landing very few of his counter jabs as Mendy bounces and rolls loosely to either side. Mendy slips a hook and lands a stiff jab. Body shot by Pryce. BIG right hand by Mendy! Pryce is backed up to the ropes and has to hold on.

Round 5

Mendy jabs the body. Hook to the face sends Pryce reeling back. High jabs to the forehead by Mendy, and a long porch-swing right uppercut. Pryce circles away and tries to land some long jabs, but Mendy is countering well with the left while evading him. Pryce falls short with his jab as Mendy's bounces off his nose. Right hand by Pryce. Jabs by Mendy. Right uppercut to the body by Mendy. Pryce falls in with an overhand right, missing. Mendy parries the jab with his own stepping left. Mendy backs up out of the way of a Pryce 1-2. Clubbing right by Pryce pushing Mendy to the ropes. Mendy drops his shoulders and jabs up at him while circling. Mendy turns southpaw and lands a few blows before switching back . Jabs to the face by Mendy. Pryce steps through with a few jabs of his own, but misses a right.

Round 6

Mendy circles left and pops Pryce with accurate straight jabs wound upward from the hip before release, in a water pump motion. Pryce walks him down and clubs him a few times before Mendy dances away toward (and then off) the ropes. Pryce gets Mendy circling toward them again with a lunging hook and then surprises him with a quick right hand. Mendy recovers and gets back into jabbing rhythm while circling. Overhand right by Mendy. Circling left with his hands down, Mendy is pot shotting and landing as Pryce lunges and misses with jabs. Mendy is slipping jabs and throwing soft uppercuts on the move.

Round 7

Pryce is marching forward, eating jabs. Pryce throws a few lefts to the body, and rights arcing in at the head of the leaning Mendy. Pryce is applying big pressure, and chops at Mendy's face with a right. Mendy eats a jab backing straight up. Body shots by Mendy, and Pryce drills him with a jab to the face as he's leaning over. Mendy misses and overhand right and then a left hook. Pryce times him with a right hand. Clinch. Jab by Pryce.

Round 8

Pryce is walking through jabs, gloves forming a cushion for his chin as he comes on and slaps down at Mendy's head with big windmill rights. Good straight jabs by Mendy, circling. 1-2 by Mendy. Left hook by Mendy while turning Pryce. More pressure by Pryce, but it isn't paying off for him as it did in the seventh. LEFT HOOK BY PRYCE, caught Mendy off guard and leaning into it. Jabs by Mendy, twitching his shoulders and circling left while moving his head. Clinch. Pryce raps him on the kidney with his knuckles. Nice jabs by Mendy on the outside.

78-74 Mendy

 

Round 9

Mendy backs up, not jabbing. Pryce is bullying him toward the ropes and landing some good left hooks as Mendy tries to stay off the ropes. Mendy is dropping his arms low, shoulders relaxed, trying to jab up at Pryce on the way in. Pryce pushes through and clubs him with a right hand as Mendy is ducking and leaning back. Lot output by Mendy. Pryce is plowing into him, lands a jab but eats one. Windmill right by Pryce misses. Hook by Pryce.

Round 10

Mendy is backing up, pushing his left jab and whipping over the top with right hands. Pryce is landing jabs as Mendy tries to play matador. Slapping hook by Mendy while stepping to the left as Pryce is standing pat. Hooking attack by Pryce and Mendy slips on the ring logo. No knockdown. Jabs by Pryce, landing well. Mendy isn't even throwing. They jab together and Pryce lands. Pressure by Pryce. Clubbing right. Mendy dives and grabs.
