Did Truscott have trouble making the weight?

I like Truscott but think Buckland will be too big/strong/relentless for him and Truscott will have to spend 12 hours keeping out the way.

I hope Truscott can do it but think Buckland to wear him down later rounds

Hopefully Truscott can avoid getting cut in this fight, massively unlucky with them in his previous 2 British shots against Simpson. Can't see how Truscott will be able to cope with Buckland but hopefully he can make a fight of it, has shown glimpses here and there of real class, will be good to see if he has made any improvements since the second Simpson fight.

    Meant 12 rounds mate.

I'm coming to the end of a 12 hour shift at work so got that on my mind.

Buckland dominates pretty much every round and stops Truscott in the 8th.

I called it right, well atleast part of it, he was very dominant, but couldn't get the stoppage.

I spoke to truscot after the fight,he looked sick as a pig,he said he felt so weak after only the 2nd round, said he had no zip or anything,he said but congrats to buckland cos he done a number on him, said he was only hurt once, that was the body shot, the ref said to him...how you feeling? truscot replied...like **** but **** it come on lets go  got a great heart the lad,hes just disappointed for everyone who turned up,he said it was his worst ever performance,he dont know if struggling to get the weight off weakened him,but good all round performance from buckland, gets better with every fight :good

He didn't seem 100% and I think the fact it took him 3 attempts on the scales to make the weight is the reason why.

That said, I think Buckland would have beaten him had he been in peak condition.. the more I see of him the more he impresses me.
