Minor leap in competition for Cornish here, Csala is rated 70 on Boxrec and by the look of things gave Gjergjaj a semi-decent fight. A step in the right direction at least, let's see what this kid is made of. Maybe signing with "Kellie" was the boost he needed to finally get his career going, we shall see.

Not much of a step up- why doesn't he fight a decent domestic opponent?

At least it's a step up, IDK.... England doesn't have much a domestic scene anymore... Williams is shot to bits, Audley seems to be gone for good this time, Mcdermott, Skelton, Se xton, and Lewison are all MIA. Sprott isn't as active as he used to either. These guys used to put on some very exciting fights, I miss the domestic level English HW scene.. Used to be extremely exciting.

Seems like a decent enough bloke but he'll get blasted out by anyone half decent. He went 8 rounds with Larry Olubamiwo which isn't a good sign.

i was at the show when he boxed larry o, im not joking it was the worst fight i have paid to watch. he couldnt hit larry with anything clean and never once had him in trouble. i know he didnt have lots of amateur experience but even though larry looked like he was there to pick up a wage and didnt throw 10 punches in the whole fight.

he needs to step up because he might just get bored fighting all of these journeyman where they dont even come to fight! im sure gary wants to test himself, im sure his coach wants him tested but his management are not interested in that and want to use him to earn a big money fight by keeping him undefeated.

you can see it now, undefeated 6ft 7in gary cornish from scotland vs olympic gold medalist anthony joshua in the battle of britain!!! lol aj ko 2 rounds

Yeah he will probably end up like Tom Dallas by the look of things. Tom went 15-0 and look where he is now, a stepping stone opponent for prospects and getting blasted out by the likes of Lewison and Skelton. The more I look into the guy the more he sounds like Tom Dallas all over again.

He's pretty terrible to be honest, he needs to fight someone with a name. Even a shot to bits Michael Sprott would be light years better than anyone he's faced to date.

Watched him last night and for a guy with such limited Amatuer experience he's doing well, still small steps and learn
His next fight should really tell us more

I know the opposition hasn't been great but as stated due to his inexperience in the ams 21-0 is bloody good

Meh. Bottled the eliminator with Dillian Whyte. Wake me up when he fights someone real.

Second time seeing Cornish and I really don't know what to make of him yet.

One guy on the bill we were really impressed with was Mike Towell.
First time seeing him and truthfully I'd never heard of him.
Relentless puncher with a variety of shots and clearly a bit of power and seemed a very assured confident fighter.

Cant see anything on you tube. I get the feeling Cornish is a big lumbering type, but will reserve judgement till I see him.
