Gary Cornish vs Sam Sexton for the British title 20/5/2017

think its at ravenscraig in motherwell, hopefully a big crowd turns out as it will be a big night for scottish boxing if gary manages to beat sexton. hopefully his decision to go full time with billy works out too

 

It's strange how there has never been a Scottish heavyweight who has won the British title, considering how long boxing has been on the go you would have thought there would have been at least a couple of winners from Scotland. Don't think i even know any heavyweight Scottish boxers apart from a few from modern times like millarvie and Cornish. Perhaps someone on here can enlighten me on Scottish heavyweights of the past?

 

Hopefully Cornish can pull off the win
