Cornish very close to losing a point because of a blatant rabbit punch. He better not do it again. Sexton landed some decent combos, and Cornish didn't do enough.

I kinda like those local british fights but thinking that the winner might get pushed to fight for some kind of title is... Uugh a lil' confusing

 

Sexton is better IMO, Cornish doesn't know how to use his jab, so powderpuff no wonder Joshua didn't have to break sweat to go over the top of it with an overhand right. Cornish is braver this fight - seems to be trying hard and taking shots. But Sexton is simply more effective and throws punches shorter and faster. Cornish is cumbersome and can't box at range for a tall guy...

Sexton rocked Cornish with a big right hand mid way through the round, and followed up with a few more throughout the round. Cornish looking a little weary here. If Sexton keeps it up, Cornish will have a hard time making it to the final bell.
