Gary Lockett???? Any info at all PLEASE!!

    Pav's gonna be squaring up with Lockett in June, just wondering if anybody has any footage, links, stories, etc.. as he is unknown in the US. He appears to have a good record with high KO %. Don't know any the names really, but I know that doesn't mean a damn thing.

    Anything would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

    Has a fairly good amateur record, 80 wins in 88 fights winning lots of British junior titles and the European youth gold medal

    He was a real slugger in his early days, but he's been slightly refined by Enzo, much like Maccarinelli

    Has had a lot of injuries which really held up his progress. As an unbeaten novice he was rated as a real prospect, but he just sort of disapeared off the radar with his injuries and personal ****

    Yeah, no ****. Go Bush!! (**** sucker!!:fire ).

    Materials sky rocketing, no one wanting to spend BIG $$ to do little projects, not even getting into the big projects. Price of gas??? I don't know what the hell we're going to do.

    Not many know much about him in the UK either, I can't remember too many of his fights being aired

    Looked like his career was just drifting away, and suddenly he pops up with this fight :nut

    Well, I guess he has a slim punchers chance. But it's difficult to say he hits any harder than Jermain Taylor, Taylor probably would knock out his competition at a similar ratio

    Problem is, I don't see him getting past Pavlik's jab and he really suffers in height and reach - he's small. When he can't do that, he'll start backing up and getting peppered with 1 2's. His defence isn't outstanding, you only have to look at his face after fights!

    so was enzo macca, look what happened to him when he stepped into the ring with someone who outgunned him.

    lockett hasn't been on tv in the UK since last april on the calzaghe-manfredo undercard and even then it was on some tucked away channel (itv2) before the main event took place on a more high profile channel.

    Lockett is fit, can take a punch and dish out ounishment himself. He is not technicly gifted, but Pavlik is not Mayweather.

    He has the ability to make Pavlik look very ordinary and give him 12 hards round. Imagine Hatton vs Urango.

    I haven't seen him in years but If I remember rightly hes a blown up LMW with a big punch.Pavik is a hell of a lot bigger.
