Pavlik is easialy the most over rated boxer in the world right now. still he would beat Lockett to a pulp but Lockett does have World Class Power, Pavlik has Cruiserweight World Class Power!

Gary Lockett is slow, and a bit too easy to hit which doesn't bode too well. As for Pavlik being "very, very beatable", nobody's managed it yet, and he is the top middleweight in the world. I would say he is very hard indeed to beat.
Sounds to me like somebody's engineering an easy fight for Pavlik, and a decent payday for Lockett. I can't see this fight happening though.

HBO will not pay Kelly 7 number pay day to fight this guy, he needs a top fighter at 160 to even get a chance of getting into the ring with Kelly.

yeh Lockett will get a shot when Pavlik vacates. When he goes up with Taylor, the M/W could be the weakest its ever been!

Agreed but class ALWAYS shows.Lockett hasnt mixed in any class remotely close to Pavlik.Neither Duddy nor Lockett would stand a chance but it would make for an entertaining affair as both guys can punch.

Thats because Frank signed M`baye and M`baye won the vacant WBA belt.As for Hatton he went for the number 1 at 140.The belt had littel to do with it.Either way he relinquished it not long after leaving Warren.

    It's all politics.

M'Baye was signed cos he was high with the WBA already and Warren wanted to use M'Baye to pressure Hatton.

Rees fought M'Baye cos he was with Warren and Warren can't lose in that match up.

Hatton went for the IBF cos there was nothing left and he finally began to put pressure on Warren. He went for the WBO but Pinto pulled out sick and then Cotto jumped in to fight for the belt. Warren doesn't have the power to push Cotto/Arum. Hatton then went for WBA Harris but Harris pulled out so he had to fight for the IBF or Hatton would leave Warren. As it was, Hatton left anyway.

WBO is certainly Warrens preference and thats where he has power. I think he has some power with the WBA. Not too sure about IBF and WBC.
