    Such a shame. Remember him making a cameo appearance in the TV show 'The Detectives'. A good fighter too.

    RIP Gary.

    He was an affible chap who was known for a solid chin and even shared the ring with Lennox Lewis. He did a brief stint with SKY and came across quite well.

    Tragic accident - he will be missed.

    Mason showed a lions hart against Lewis, had a detached retina as well I believe, before he was stopped he took a massive amount of punishment then came back with a last ditch flurry to try and change the fight but the ref could see he had nothing left and decided to stop the fight.
