What about Gary mason fighting along with Cooper,Bodell, Billy Walker, Brian London etc?
    How far can he rise?

I think he'd be at the very top. He would be a giant in that era, a hard hitting one at that.

It might not be a popular opinion but in all the fights of his I've seen I never ONCE thought Mason was an inferior fighter to someone better promoted who came along at the same time... Like Bruno.

It's a real shame his career came to a end like it did.
He could have carried on, fought Bruno and a few of the big names at the time.
But good on him for fighting Lewis at the time.

Yes he could have possibly done very well back in that era with cooper and co.
He had a decent dig and seemed to have a good Chin.

Yeah his career was way too brief for the results he was getting. I would of loved to of seen more from him.

His chin seemed fantastic from what we saw of it... A young Lennox unloaded and landed tons of clean knockout shots on him but Gary soaked them up like few ever did.

Interesting fight that d be Noel.
I lean towards Gary stopping Cooper, maybe on the old cuts.
But he might have Mason a bit banged up around the chop s.

As already mentioned by some, I think Gary Mason would do well. That’s not a guarantee that he would be the best of the bunch but he’d be right up there near the top. With a solid chin and plenty of punching power he’d command respect.
