    Hence my use of the letters ,"imo".
    Bottom line, Mason never beat a heavyweight who was ranked at the time.

    Brilliant story. Then you realize that same Ross Purrity knocked out Wladimir Klisthcko. So your point is?

    No I don't realize that. And the reason I don't realize it is because it wasn't the SAME Ross Purity nor the same set of circumstances. Ross had 16 fights when he fought Morrison in 1994. He had about 38 when he met Klitscho in 1998. Klit's career was still in the embryonic stages when he met purity while Morrison was at his pinnacle. Wlad's fight with Ross was scheduled for 12 rounds and Klit basically dominated Purity before gassing in the 11th. Morrison met Purity in a scheduled 10 rounder and well....He was lucky to make it to the cards... Wladimir went on to having one of the longest title reigns of all time. Tommy never did anything of note again... I see where you tried to go with this, but never was there a worse comparison.
