Who remembers him telling people to bet their 'christmas money' on him? Lucky no-one did eh? Someone prob would have gone round his house if they did after watching him quit a few rounds in.

Him trolling that gimp with the AJ tattoo whilst a bit out of order was pretty funny though... I initially felt sorry for that bloke until I saw the **** he was tweeting other people and then thought he probably deserved it.

I hear Spike is moving down to light-middle.
Stick in him with Gary Corcoran/Liam Williams

What makes this even more galling for Spike is, after he spent the better part of two years calling out Eubank, and trolling him on Twitter with such imaginative prose as "Enough talk. I will knock you out", he appeared to mentally shrink once the fight was made.

No more apparent was this than during "The Gloves Are Off" episode when, realising he was in over his head and with no way of backing out without making himself look extremely foolish, his negative body posture and his attempts to afford himself confidence by telling Eubank ad nauseum, "I'm going to beat you: I'm going to knock you out" did little to convince Spike, much less anyone else, of his likelihood of springing the upset.

Junior's focus was on beating Spike; O'Sullivan's efforts seemed to have been so emotionally and mentally invested in trolling Eubank into accepting a fight with him, that he appeared to have very little mental energy and fortitude for the actual fight; it also appeared that Spike put very little planning or effort went into preparing to beat Eubank -- or at the very least, putting forth a spirited effort against Eubank. Had Spike done this, and gone out on his shield, he could have walked away with his head held high, knowing he gave his all. Instead, UNTIL he gets another chance to fight Junior, Spike will always have a nagging doubt seared into his psyche that, after all the talk and trolling and insults, he turned up on fight night and offered absolutely nothing. Spike knows this deep down, is personally ashamed of this, and this is the crux of why he continues to insult Eubank Jr, as opposed to moving on with his career.
