Gary Russell you useless old fool. I didn't even watch the fight but i guarantee ol boy schooled you 12-0 because you're OVER-RATED. Always have been.

It's time to retire or move down and get fed to Inoue

“He’s not a better fighter; he doesn’t have the skill-set that I have,” Russell Jr. said of Lomachenko. 99 times out of a 100, I’m going to scorch his a**. Let’s make it happen.''

Reality bit a plug out of Gary's ass tonight. He worked out this scenario in his head ahead of time, he truly deluded himself into believing that he was many levels above Mark, and that he would take him to school with one hand. He didn't even entertain the possibility of a option B happening, and this irrational reaction proves it. Sure, he did a pretty good job making him miss, but when you throw next to no jabs and almost every straight left you throw is to the forearms, that means you're not doing enough to win. You certainly aren't giving off the perception that you're winning... when your opponent is throwing three times as many punches as you are. Sure he can pretend like the judges score cards were an indication that the match was close, but the fact that he actually lost.... means it wasn't at all. He should know that by now, on PBC cards they do everything in their power to make sure the A-side wins, however... when even they're incapable of digging out a robbery lodged somewhere deep in their rectums... that means you've lost and lost brutally. But, it's to be expected, Gary is a very stubborn fixed personality, he doesn't deal well with reality, so he simply lies to himself until he gets comfortable enough to acknowledge his failures. Although judging how delusional he acted after he took the L against Loma, we shouldn't hold our breath for the turnaround.

He actually did really well for a fighter with literally one hand from rounds 4-12

Didn't he claim something simular after Loma spanked his ass?!

Tired of these slicks who think they can pot shot and run around the ring. The Floyd era is over boi. You gotta do more than that to win.

Russell actually won some rounds with one hand. Problem for him is that he didn't seem to have any semblance of power tonight. Those feather dusters he was throwing weren't concussive enough when they did land to highlight his work for the judges. No way single feather duster shots will outweigh volume ever.

Delusional. Hope this guy retires. He brings nothing to the sport but thinks he’s a somebody.

Definately took the same delusion class as Broner and Lopez.....hubris at it's finest.
Not sure where he goes from here as he'd get clowned if he moves down as well. just not half as good as he thinks he is.

I thought Gary Russell Jr retired as he started to fight once a year after Lomachenko defeated him comfortably.
