Unfortunately Broner is not in his best shape, the top contender he is facing is an undefeated 20 year boxing veteran that never lost a fight as a Pro, so to be honest Broner is supposed to lose this fight, probably Broner was set-up by matchmakers to take this dangerous fight.

If Broner loses he shouldn't be discouraged, use the fight as a paid-training session and stay in shape for more fights at 140 without ballooning back beyond 150, if he stays under 150 & trains for a few more months he will be much better, not hard as he will be making 140 anyways

That dude is BUSY!!! Very impressed. I know a lot of posters try to post how they 'care' that a boxer is getting paid a lot to face a no-hoper, but WTF is that when we're talking about a competitive sport? Are some of these guys fans of getting paid well, or fans of BOXING??

    Good point about Hagler.

For his size, if he could stay active at 140, I think that would be the best for him. He has no power at 147. No chance for a title there.

140 seem the best for now, but staying at solid 140 (with the ability to drain to 130-135) will allow him to fight from 130-154 & we get to see him in many fights, at 154 he can fight without the need to bulk up, his defense is very good, he never gets caught clean, it would be very interesting to see Broner target Fundora & Tszyu.

He is making plenty to live comfortably now, however that likely only lasts until his late 30s when he finishes fighting. Might make more sense to fight more now before he has to retire and be a commentator or live off his previous earnings

When it comes to living of previous earnings Broner, GRJ, Canelo and Floyd will have the same amount of "earnings"

Most boxing champions are doing it for legacy...

Imagine fighting in 2 weeks time and there is zero undercard, no one knows your fighting and there is zero promotion.

By the 2030s Floyd, Canelo, Broner and GRJ will share an equal outcome-income, at least when it comes to earnings.

Honestly I think I see the writing on the wall. Gary Russel is yet another FW that is about to dragged up and fed to Gervonta Davis on PPV. That is probably the reason he’s turning down Warrington as he’ll probably receive at minimum $1.5 for his services.

Talk about two guys one already wasted his potential the other is heading in the same direction.
