I actually don't mind Russell generally, he seems like a pretty good guy if you watch some segments about him on his life and family.

However, when it comes to boxing he's definitely extremely unlikeable with his delusional talk and disrespect for his own opponents.

This guy is pathetic. He fingerpoints to S&C coach, but he went all 12 rounds and brought a pretty high punch volume into the ring. It's just that he was beating the air all night long. If your opponent makes you miss 90% of your shots, maybe he's just more skilled than you are.

really ? i dont see anything in them that resembles the other. are you saying in the same class , per their previous hype ? i see porter as a WW that could give the elites a tough go and possibly grab a couple W's off them.

with grj, i dont see him giving ANY elite fighter around his weight the slightest trouble at all. i dont think it was 100% loma that made grj look so pathetic, grj cannot throw a real punch to save his life.

against C and D level fighters he (can) be made to look decent but he doesnt belong anywhere near any elite fighter. hell, johnny isnt elite in anything he does but he can look to be made elite with help from grj.

johnny wont be worrying about anything coming back from grj do he will attack and take grj OUT

I know the irony is hilarious.

I can kind of agree with this to an extent. I don't think he's a bad person as such. However, I find him very sour and unlikable when he starts running his mouth. There's just nothing to warm to there. He comes across as complete pr*ck when he does so.

I was referring to his outside the ring attitude: when Porter clearly lost to Brook, he gave him absolutely zero credit and blamed the judges.

These inbreds are only there for the win and if god forbid somebody beats them they will blame the whole world including the Pope before admitting it.

The ''amateur'' 2 fight novice took him to school and humiliated him. The worst thing is you could see the look of realization in Russell's eyes that he was in with someone a bit special within minutes of the first bell and yet still he doesn't want to give him any credit at all.

aight, i got it now. outside the ring grj is the 2nd coming of jesus, per grj himself. i thought porter would had been humbled after the brook fight. i didnt pay him any attention so i have no idea.

when a fighter (grj and porter) are so low on my fighters to follow list i cant waste my time looking in to them. unlike some on here, if i'm not a fan of a fighter, i dont internet stalk them..

there are match ups for porter out there that i would watch with interest but grj is so bad offensively in the ring i cant even watch him unless he has an opponent (like tonight) that should be able to KHTFO
