Getting rid of Russell would be a good thing. You should want him to lose, but truth is there ain't many who can do it.
I was such a big fan of this earlier on. Looked to have close to the total package...except for the heart of a boxer. Thought after he beat Jhonny G, he might turn it around. But nope...same on one a year crap
Me, too. He's the kind of speed fighter I like. But he has milked that title way past the point he should have been allowed to do so, thumbing his nose at the fans and the sport generally. He mostly had a normal schedule, but then: 2015: 1 fight (wins title) 2016: 1 fight 2017: 1 fight 2018: 1 fight 2019: 1 fight 2020: 1 fight 2021: 0 fights It's indefensible.
The goompa loompa is a bit of a waste of talent but it's his own fault .. shame we've not seen him in a big fight yet .. saying that though you can't fault him in some ways because he does fight some decent contenders when he does actually fight .. the filipino looks a decent prospect..
Very good fighter, I just wish he would fight more often. Maybe ‘22 will get him on track. He always comes into a fight in great shape and has legit top level skills. He can’t develop a fan base fighting so infrequently. I enjoy his style and hope he fights at least twice a year, maybe three times.
That's because in 2014 he got trapped in The Matrix. He was still there until old Neo freed him this year. Now he knows kung fu.
