He didn't win because of the foul, he won because he was knocked out dumb ass. He should not have hit him after the bell, it was absolutely intentional.

idgaf if he's featherfisted, he should be charged for assault for that bull****. Hate ****ing ***s who throw punches in a situation where they know it's going to get broken up. If this was a 1 vs1 situation and they were the only 2 guys in the ring he wouldnt have done ****.

Just like John Ruiz milked the low blows against Evander Holyfield and Kirk Johnson, and ol' Nard Hops milked his "shoulder injury" against Chad Dawson. :sisi1

    1. The last two punches of the combination were after the bell had rung. And Uzcategui had hit him after the bell previously so the official was probably within his rights to DQ him for the foul. It wasn't intentional, I don't believe, but is was in the realm of the rule-book.

    2. Dirrell fell hard onto his face. Dude looked to be out, and I dunno if a five minute rest would have helped him.

    3. To hell with Dirrell's camp for pulling that crap. Bush league, to say the least.

He landed the right at the bell but the left was clearly after the bell.

Agree, but Dirrell should have protected himself at all times. I don't think he let his guard down because the bell rang, but that's just my opinion. It was after the bell clearly though.

Dirrell got to his knees. Then when the ref asked for the doc, Dirrell went back down lol. Paulie is right.

thank god boxing has some officials with integrity...can you imagine giving uzcategui the win after he committed a deliberate foul which ended the fight? boxing is a dirty sport through and through but that ref at least upheld standards of proper conduct....that's good for boxing as a whole.
