Can't believe GRJ fans thought he had a chance in this one.... There's a reason why he faced nothing but stiffs for YEARS. Loma challenged for a world title in his second fight, big difference. When will people learn? More than not protected fighters fail when it comes time to step up.

This was supposed to be slick vs. slick, but he made Russell seem like a sloppy volume puncher.

Salido is very savvy abd he pulled out every dirty trick in the book to beat him. He also dwarfed him in the ring. He didn't even make weight

    It will surely take time.
What´s more shocking is that people scored so many rounds for him. Yeah he threw a lot and that should be counted but come on.... People don’t seem to realize how embarrassing that is.

I know I had it 115-113, with a swing round that could have made it 116-111, but there was NO way I could have been more generous to GRJ. I was pulling for Loma big time as well.

Loma took too many rounds off and I favored GRJ's activity. I don't recall the last time I had a guy win 7-5 but saw the overall fight as an ass kicking.

Had Loma fired some more shots, he may have won 10-12 rounds.

Loma could've knocked him out but played it safe. he needs to pick it up if he wants to be a star.

Russell is a good ass fighter.

He showed a chin, ridiculous hand speed, power (even if he didn't land it, he kept Lomachenk from getting reckless), stamina and heart.

Russell's stock went up. I picked Russell to win. Lomachenko was just that good tonight.

Why wouldn't we. Russell had a great amateur career to. He has the higher workrate and has skills I picked him to win. Loma proved me wrong you can't get them right every time. Hats off to Loma he was the better man and is the real deal

No, it shouldn't be counted. It doesn't matter how much you throw when you land 10% and even that mere 10% is mostly grazing jabs the opponent is rolling & moving with.
