If you are so confident, you should go to some casino and bet a couple of thousands on Russell, because Lomachenko is going to be the betting favorite and rightfully so.

Just don't go betting your house if you ever do get the chance to bet on this fight......because on Sunday you might be homeless.

I don't do bets anyway but why would I bet real money against some stranger on the Internet? Although it is my opinion I wasn't even saying that Russell couldn't win in that post so I'm not sure why you brought it up, I said technically he's not as good Lomachenko except maybe a better jab.

But that way you have no chance of getting any, because hardly anyone would bet with you like that. I was just suggesting that if you are 100% confident in your choice, just bet heavily on Russell because he will be the underdog. I myself never placed a single bet, and speaking from the boxing (not betting) side of view, I'd be very surprised if Russell pulled off an upset because I don't consider him to be on Lomachenko's level.

They have 30 days to make a deal. If not, it goes to a purse bid.

Loma in one fight already has a better resume than Gary Russell's.

Of course not! The kid has a total of 2 pro fights and just 15 pro rounds under his belt. Salido is a former world champion with a SLEW of professional rounds against the divisions elite.

For the kid to almost pull it out and to be able to make it 12 rounds was a victory in itself. Russell isn't on Loma's or Salido's level. He has the potential but he's dragging his d*ck in the dirt with his professional progression.

In June of last year it was reported by Loma's manager that he would hire a professional trainer along side his father--Roach was mentioned. Apparently, that didn't happen, and he's only training with his dad, an amateur boxing trainer, and as such he was ill-prepared for Salido. It doesn't look like he's gotten a pro trainer, so I have concerns about this fight. His father doesn't seem to have the training knowledge to optimize and properly prep a pro fighter fighting 10 to 12 rounds and dealing with all the things exclusive to the pro game. I'll be keeping my cash in my wallet this go around.

I thought Joey Gamache was training him alongside his dad?
