Gary Russell vs. Vasyl Lomachencko

Lomachenko will beat him silly.

Everyone will be saying how improved Lomachenko is, when the reality will be:

1. He knows he can go 12 now. That's a big deal for a smart fighter.
2. He won't be getting punched in the ***** repeatedly.
3. He won't be at a massive size disadvantage.
4. His opponent won't be tough, and will in fact be the opposite.
5. His opponent isn't the puncher Salido is.
6. Instead of being the new guy in there, he's fighting an opponent with what amounts to less pro experience than Lomachenko got against Salido, not to mention the WSB.

Mismatch, and a fun one.

 

If Loma does not shine in this one a bunch of us may have been seriously wrong about him. Makes me curious who he spars with and why he kept his father as primary trainer. His dad should step aside and let someone with pro fight experience take over full time.

Letting his son go in against Salido after that missing weight purposefull B.S. was not a savy move.

I know KW. The only pro schooling Loma got though was the school
of racist boxing politics. There were serious conditions to Loma getting
this title shot, and his opponent was allowed to cheat in the worst boxing
commission on earth. If Loma didn't take the shot he was given he may
have not gotten it. Any serious objective fan knows he's 2-0 though, so
i'm not worried about it. Do you think Erislandy Lara loses sleep over the
Pwilly loss?
