To be honest, if Loma wins, I may even become a fan.
I'm not so involved to pray and wish that he loses. I'm simply not that involved emotionally.
But, I see some here have a very deep emotional persoanl need for him to win. I find it pretty weird to be honest.

For me it's, let the best man win.

Right now, I think Russell have the best skills and is the best man. I may be proven wrong. If so, I'm not going to gnash my teeth and feel anything but hopefully the fulfilment of viewing an entertaining boxing match.

Apparently there were VERY few conditions on him getting a title shot.

He fights one fight against a guy who was mmaaaaaaybe top 30 and then gets an immediate title shot??

When does that ever happen?

And then he gets another title shot immediately? If anything, hes the one with politics and money on his side.

When he fought Salido, HE was the house boy. It was a top rank show, and hes the top rank golden boy.

What really got me is how most poster's overlooked Salido coming in like three pounds over, which is huge for FW. He did not even try to make weight and therefore was much STRONGER on fight night without having to diet away those last three lbs. Those imbeciles even claimed Salido was less prepared because he did not train hard enough to make weight.atsch

Then Loma gets a crooked ref who lets Salido fout with impugnity and even lets him hold excessively in the 12th when Loma had still managed to break him and was ready to stop him.

Loma was/is unfortunately a victim of his ethnicity and passport and gets judged with malice on issues that transcend boxing.

At no time was Lomo even remotely in trouble. Salido, however, barely made it out of the 12th.
