“Devon Alexander had no exposure. People wouldn’t know him if you brought him to Hollywood and Vine or if you brought him to Broadway and 42nd street. Juan Urango has had more television exposure than Devon Alexander. The only person with less television exposure than Alexander is Amir Khan. Maybe those two should fight each other. They can call the fight – ‘Get To Know Us.’”

True but Bradley is a relative unknown as well. That's why he can't get fights - cos he's too much risk for too little reward.

Haha, Gary Shaw should think about his own fighters profile before saying this. Bradley doesn't exactly draw big crowds and pay days

    A bit contradicting.

We didn't fight Alexander because he is unknown.

Khan and Alexander are both nobodys.

But didn't shaw in a earlier interview say he and Frank Warren had an informal agreement to fight Khan. Khan then signed with Golden Boy who refused to entertain the idea.

Gary shaw then taunted Khan, because his promoters showed little interest.

So if Khan is a nobody why so desperate to get it on with him. Sweetheart get over it get yourself a new date for the Prom.

Shaw insinuated that Khan is a nodoby in America. The proposed fight between Bradley and Khan was to be staged in The U.K.

No, the proposed deal with Warren was meant for the UK. Khan reiterated his desire to fight in the states and hence signed with Golden Boy. Shaw then approached Golden Boy knowing Khan would be fighting in the states, his approach was rejected. Obviously its sour grapes. It's okay for shaws fighter to do what makes business sense, but if Khan does he's ducking or scared or not a real champ and now he's a nobody.

Alexander has a lot of scope.

I think he would have Bradleys measure, big call, but I rate the kid.

I wouldn't be too happy if I was Showtime. Shaw is insinuating that Peterson is a somebody where as Devon Alexander (a guy they have substantial stock in) is a nobody. I could see them not liking that.
