“This morning I read with interest the story about Malignaggi and Amir Khan going at it. I must tell you that factually Malignaggi is telling the truth as I tried to make a fight with Amir Khan and Tim Bradley and Golden Boy said ‘absolutely no chance,’ ‘no way’ - and I believe that’s the reason why Amir Khan refuses to fight [Marcos] Maidana – he’s scared,” “He’s scared of Maidana. He’s scared of Tim Bradley. What champion do you know is willing to give up his title to fight someone else with no title? And I believe Amir Khan is a fraud. And I’ll believe it until he accepts the challenge to fight Tim Bradley. Until that happens I will continue to say he’s a fraud. We’ll even go back to England to fight him so he feels comfortable, warm and fuzzy in his own country,”
Gary Shaw is a ****in idiot. The last boy he brought to warm, fuzzy old England and talked up ended up getting himself and Shaw humiliated, fat ****.
khan himself has said hes not quite ready for a fight with bradley!! End of 2010 i believe he said he would be ready by....so gary shaw shut your big mouth you idiot...plus marquez is a better quality of opponent as long as it happens.
mother ****er i dare him to say that in front of khans face fat waste of space, a disgrace to his family
khan visited middlesex uni here in england, he said then like he has said, if roach and his promoter say yes he will fight them put bradley or anyone in front of him and khan will say yes but what can he do if his promoter and trainer say no?
If he did say it to his face, Khan better get in the first shot. Because if Shaw did crack him, Khan might not get up.
Frank Warren said yes to the fight and then Khan left Warren for Golden Boy. Golden Boy is now protecting Khan and he of course has no problem hiding behind his promoter. IMO, that's a wise choice by Khan. He shouldn't be getting in the ring with Bradley or Maidana anytime soon.
Khan is not giving up his title. He's going after a high profile fight against JMM. If I were him, I would do the same. Its the smart thing to do. If he can dominate Khan more impressively than Floyd at 140 instead of 147 think of the impact that will have on Khan's perception in the sport.
I really, really hate shaw.... hes probably my least favorite person in boxing, stupid ****. But... hes slighty right here. Khan should have fought Maidana.... his fight with JMM is so predictable and transparent though, i pretty much knew he wouldnt be fighting Maidana :-( About Bradley, i have no problem with the fact that maybe Khan isnt ready for the fastly becoming 'man' of the division, Bradley is on another level and if khan wanted a few more fights before he fights him then i understand..... but he should have fought Maidana, IMO..... not an aging, smaller marquez in a weight he shouldnt be at. I never really cared one way or the other about khan.... but now im hoping somehow, someway, that marquez counter punches him to defeat....
