This is the first time I've seen this and wow.. People actually think this no defense having, looping punches throwing buffoon could beat a boxer?? As mentioned here, forget a heavyweight, in a boxing match I see the smaller guys owning his no stamina having self and the bigger guys 160 and above literally picking him apart..

Tank Abbott looked like he trained for this fight yesterday.

Kimbo is getting babyfed CANS with NAMES

Mercer and Tank were never going to win those fights. ****.. Tank looked like he was fighting underwater. Tank Abbot is the Butterbean of the MMA world... except worse. He made a name because he talks ****.

They need to put him in with any sort of decent fighter. He'll get his ass beat.

He did beat Mercer. Even though Mercer was 46. Still very impressive for someone so limited.

:lol:Maybe so but Mercer was winning some boxing matches. I am glad that he lost his last one to Rossy. Maybe now he'll retire.

But, it was done under rules Mercer was not world class in. It's 50/50 for me as Kimbo does show promise but there are far too many variables he has not been exposed too at even the mid level competition.

Overall, kimbo is not bad considering but the hype surrounding him is unbearable.

Actually Mercer last fight previous to Kimbo was almost two years earlier and it was a ko loss to Briggs, so Mercer may not have trained more than a few weeks for the bout. Then again Kimbo hadn't trained for the same amount of time. One of Kimbos fights though he did bob and weave pretty good. Still I can't see him making it into the top 100 as a boxer. After all Might Mo is a damn fine puncher and he is now 2-1 in boxing. His debut he lost to a very mediocre boxer but won two since then against 0-2 fighters. In a K-1 or a boxing match I would favor Mighty Mo over Kimbo. In an MMA bout it would be a little more even.

Kimbo can beat Wlad. Wlad should dominate, but he should have beaten Brewster the first time and Cory Sanders as well. If Kimbo hits Wlad with a big shot Wlad will fall because he has a glass jaw. Honestly, I think this is a stupid fight if it were to come off . If Wlad just sticks his jab and stays away from a big right hand it is easy work, but if Kimbo lands on Wlad there is a possibility of saying goodnight to Wlad.

I bet you thought Lamon Brewster and Cory Sanders had no chance as well.

Look at my Avatar, I hate Wlad. Kimbo is currently my favorite MMA fighter, Wlad would destroy Kimbo in a boxing ring, Brewster and Sanders were good fighters, just unknown to most people until they beat Wlad, after Brewster beat Wlad he held the title for 2 years, defending it and winning against 3 seperate oppenents, and losing the title on his 4th defense, in what what most people considered the fight of the year against Liakhovich.

Brewster is far from a bum, Kimbo would be lost in a boxing ring against a fighter as talented and as powerful as Wlad.
