Gary Shaw doesn't know wtf he's talking about. Kimbo needs to do something big in boxing before he's even put in the same sentence as Klitschko.

 

For anyone who actually think Kimbo stands a chance, let's put it into perspective, Kimbo get his arse handed to him by a Boston police officer probably in his late 30's (?, no idea how old Gannon is), what do you think a professional boxer would do to him?

And not just any professional boxer, the best heavyweight in the world by far atm who has 44 KO's in 50 wins and can box aswell.

 

Oh please i have seen all of Kimbos fights and yes he looks good against bums but seriously a professional boxer is way way different. You saw what Gannon did to him.
You guys are ******ed if you think Klitchsko could lose to Kimbo. Sure Kimbo has a good beard against average fighters but a Klitchsko right hand would instantly KO Kimbo. I think a jab would also do it.

 

Kimbo's a big strong good fighter concenring stand up in MMA, or at least good compared to lesser strikers, but I dont see him being that successful in the boxing ring has he shown a powerful jab like Holmes, Lewis, Klitschko, etc.. no. Someone with a good jab would box circles around him, he could probably go undefeated for abit though. So is his fight tonight on Showtime?

Wasn't this posted under Kimbo vs Tyson. I cannot even believe that I am waisting my tme posting again on this subject. Kimbo couldn't out box a good Golden glove boxer Have you not watched his fights on U tube. Obviously he is getting better in MMA but he hasn't even scratched the surface against some of the heavyweights in mma. You people talk about Klitschko having a glass jaw you are nuts. STUPID any one that makes it past the amatuers doesn't have a glass jaw they may not be able to take a punch as well as some but that is not a glass jaw.

I would like to see Kimbo fight Brock Lesnar, Vandela Silvia or Mighty Mo in MMA. I would favor all three of those guys over Kimbo. Mighty Mo is a former K1 champ I think he is 3-0 in MMA, and 2-1 in boxing. Kimbos next opponent is a guy from England named James Thompson. He was ko'd wuickly by butterbean and a few other MMA guys. He does have two big wins over former great MMA guys though but they were way past their prime when Thompson beat them.

 

Now that's ridiculous. I really don't understand all the fuss about Kimbo, he's nothing but a backyard fighter who is going to get exposed pretty soon.
