Does that make Gilbert no 0? Give us 10 reasons why hes no 1 Hamza, we want an in depth analysis, not pictures
Ahem, 1. Explosive 2. Avoided 3. Unexpected 4. Feared 5. Calculating 6. Flying Submissions 7. Non-Flying Submissions 8. Judo Takedowns 9. Cleaned out LW in Dream 10. Tall for LW 11. Will take on anyone Name a fighter you could say this about
1 Pulls out a submission very fast yes, but as an athlete he's anything but explosive 2 Maybe fighting in Japan has limited his competition, but Im not to sure about that. But has beaten the best Japans had to offer 3 Kind of, on the ground. But as far as a gameplan goes, clinch/takedown/pull guard/sub is pretty routine for him 4 Again, on the ground, definately 5 True 6 Yes 7 again true 8 He does, but I think if you look at one athletically, he may not be able to do this against the strongest in the division. Gray, Edgar and Melendez would all be able to shrug his off with ease imo, limiting his options as he has 0 stand up at all 9 He did, not a bad division, but has to beat a few of the afore mentioned fighters to even break the top 10 p4p for me personally. Number 1 is a long way off 10 Has no bearing on a p4p spot what so ever 11 Cant fault his heart in calling out BJ ect. But his displays in the stand up do not warrant a p4p 1 spot for me. Benny Hill impressions are amusing though
Your analysis is fair, and I understand where your coming from but: 3. He also tends to climb on people and also bait people into attacking his guard. The latter is not so successful but it can work on aggressive wrestlers. 8. We will see, but as I have said many times, he was not tactically prepared for his debut in the cage, which also happened to be against one of the best LWs in North America. 9. As I said, that is fair, and unfortunately we have to wait, but I believe his accomplishments in Japan warrant those opportunities.
Thanks for the Keyboard bashing guys, I like it! Lol But the reason I said Kimbo could be a force to be wrecked with is because anyone could be a force to be are wrecken with as long as they train hard and train consistent.
Shaw is talking rubbish. Diaz vs Lacy or Vargas is a relveant fight when it is your second professional boxing match. Both of them are shot but Diaz is a **** boxer with 1 bout. No doubt his MMA background greaty helps him but it would still only be his second fight.
