    I'm delighted to announce that it has just been confirmed that I will be defending my WBO International Middleweight title against Billy Joe Saunders at Wembley on July 20th.

    I'll have to relinquish my BUI title to take the fight but it's a mandatory defence and a world title fight eliminator so it's an opportunity that I have to take.

    presume he will if this is an eliminator.

    why did ****** go through all the hassle winning the ryder/saunders purse bids if he knew this was on the horizon?

    Don't know about the Ryder fight tbh .Nothing beats a bit of Ireland England rivalry anyway man .Should be a decent scrap this .

    Thought Billy said that there was no way he would dodge this fight, don't they have 2 weeks from purse bid date to make the board aware of the venue and date of the purse bid fight, if not it goes to the next bidder?

    No the fight must happen before a set date (think it was before end of July), but shock horror on the circular it doesn't have the date

    so you think Saunders will not vacate until after this fight?

    Effectively leaving Ryder in limbo (can't fight Saunders, can't fight for the vacant).

    Carl frampton should look closely at billy joes,frankie Gavin's and Nathan cleverlys recent opponents and pay

    This is **** also means Ryder/bjs won't happen

    Only bright spot is bjs emerging onto the world rankings
