Christ, watching that Prescott fight again, always forget just how bad it is. Every time he gets just jabbed you can see his legs go. Shame but I cant see him ever getting to the very top with that chin.

He will never ever be a world champ, unless theres some truely weak champion or a vacation.

you have to be at least average in most areas, his chin could be solved if he had a winkyesque defence but thats also very weak.

Poor Amir, millionaire for no reason.

    Why ? :huh

Its only sparring for **** sake, its not as if Pac is the 2nd coming of Jesus & cant even lose a spar.

why would the guy lie ?

As good as Manny is as a fighter, most know he is far from a complete boxer as far a the basics go, Im not one bit suprised that Kahn beat him a few times, its a 4 rd sparring session.

You'd think with Strech being an ex champ he'd know that sparring means sod all, no reason for him to even state this. Maybe as a confidence boost to Amir but that only leads to him thinking he's unbeatable and a KO

I can understand that, but that's due to styles. It's likely that Khan is boxing Manny from a distance, but his legs begin to give after the fourth round, probably from constantly moving away and a consistant body attack from PAC.

I'm sure PAC has been emphasizing the body as it's the key to beating the majority of fighters.

I wouldn't doubt it either! Sparrig is usually light and it's a time where fighters are "WORKING" on things to improve. So you can never take a sparring session and try to make claim that a real fight would end up the same way! It's great for Khan and his confidence though and working with a living and active GREAT is more than he can ever have asked for to help him get back to where he needs to be.

I disagree that the sparring is light in this case, as fighters were being offered $1000 to knock Manny down. Khan is rich, but ain't so rich that he isn't gonna try and get his money, especially considering he just got KOed and probably feels like he has something to prove.

In fact, I think Freddy Roach told Khan to go hard against PAC because I don't PAC was in there play fighting, he was probably puttin it down for real. Besides, Khan was a good choice of opponent for PAC considering some of his similarities to Oscar, at least physically and athletically.

With all due respect Bill....this couldn't be further from the truth as it stands now. Manny is pretty complete in terms of BOXING. He's got a full array of punches....a good jab, great foot work, nice lateral movment, head movement and imporving defense. He's still working on technique but he's got the basics...he's just a RAW fighter....Roach is polishing this diamond and doing a damn good job.
