Buckland is fast, speed kills. Johanneson is one of boxing's biggest punchers, comfortably beat current world champion Burns, dropping him a few times. He also gave a well prepared Kevin Mitchell a tough fight.

Buckland knocked him out in Prizefighter. That hardly counts and it wasn't his first fight in the tournament. They don't even make the proper weight either.

Not being funny but Buckland's probably better than Broner anyway tbf. He definitely hits harder. Only guy that properly beat him was John Murray and that was when Murray was unbeaten and a beast at a higher weight.

:patsch Buckland isn't in the same league as Broner, definitely doesn't hit harder, he only has something 8 knockouts, Broner is 22 fights undefeated with 19 knockouts, and has fought at a much higher level than either Buckland or Sykes, and John Murray was never a beast unless he was fighting sub-par fighters or smaller guys, he got destroyed once he stepped up from domestic b-level against Kevin Mitchell and Brandon Rios.

Broner is 100x faster than Buckland, Johanneson one of boxing's biggest pucnhers? based on what? knocking out Michael Gomez and a bunch of guys with losing records? and yeah he beat Ricky Burns, so what? Burns was a kid back then and has improved significantly since that fight, and he gave Mitchell a good fight and then got knocked out

Broner would beat Buckland, Johanneson and Sykes all in one night, a lot of the fighters Broner has beat would as well.

To be fair, that's usually a safe assumption.

Well it doesn't enhance broner's rep at all and it's actually a step back considering he's beaten ranked guys twice in a row now.

It's not like anyone rates broner as top dog in the division anyways.

He should be hunting a fight with uchiyama if he wants to prove himself.

  6. That's an outrageous exaggeration.

 Murray might've got stopped against both but he was hardly destroyed. He won more rounds on the cards against Rios than Abril did. And apart from Katsidis gave Mitchell his toughest fight.

Quit brushing Broner's hair. He's not that good, as Sykes will prove.

Here the heaters go again Browner is just starting out give him time.Look at his strengths the power is real so is the speed and his last 3 fights he has been relaxed and just let the KOs happen. With more seasoning he can be something real special going to be fun watching him.

I completely understand why they made this fight. It's a undercard for Khan. So why not beat the dog **** out of a British fighter. It's called exposure. Why rush Broner ? It's not like there's mega fights in his division. Let's let GB build him up , move up in weight and have some huge fights there. Until then my fellow Brits ..... Be prepared to see Sykes get broken in 2.

Abril did miles better than murray against rios.

Don't be fooled by the official cards, abril schooled rios.

Still finding it bizarre that we're discussing a fight like this.
Still no word from the SBA crew? I called Sykes B-level domestic.I'm actually thinking I was being a bit kind.Didn't I read the other day you need to be in the top 15 for it to be a title fight?
