    the newest name in the mix to face Adrien Broner on May 19th is Gary Sykes....

    You all know I'm a Sykes fan but if this fight happens :rofl. The lads strictly British level and they're going to put him in with someone like Broner?

    Soft touch fight on an undercard before headlining his own HBO card in the summer against a decent opponent. Can't complain too much if he keeps up a decent activity level

    That's a better fight then Monte Meza Clay which is the name they were throwing about as a possible opponent, and to put this into perspective (and to slander the Allegedly Promotions name further, naturally) Sykes is better opponent then most of Burns or Cleverly's world title defence opponents. I hope this is a keep busy fight (minimum 4 fights this calendar year) and HBO are only handing over a very small licence fee for this fight I have no issues with this. This is the sort of fight Berto should have been taking when he won the WBC rather than being forced into the headliner spot when he wasn't ready as an attraction or a fighter.

    It's not worthy of opening up a HBO show is it? Have it on the untelevised bit if you want but HBO will no doubt be ponying up 6 figures for this.
