As much as I would love to see Broner get beat I don't see any possibility. Broner is better in every single possible way and Sykes doesn't even have a punch.
Just hope he doesn't get too bad a beating

I think it'll be a one shot finish or the ref stepping in as soon as he see's the difference in power and skill.

But you know how proud our fella's can be so who knows maybe he will take a beating. Atrocious matchup.

Honestly think it is worse than them. Jennings was the mandatory (obviously that was ridiculous) and Lockett beat Ryan Rhodes. Best of luck to Sykes though, happy for him

    I am the opposite.

Whilst he is obviously a massive underdog, Sykes isn't at the end of his career, like Lockett and Jennings were, nor is Broner as proven as Pavlik and Cotto were.

This it's also an undercard fight, so not the end of the world far worse examples of poor world title fights. Sykes will be a massive underdog but I hope he equities himself well and puts in a good showing, and if Broner rolls him over with no problems I hope they have him out really quick after this.

Lets be honest, its come out of nowhere but why cant he win?
i dont think he will win but i think who is more hungry this is like Sykes christmas' all coming in one so he will want this.

If i was asked my prediction i think Sykes will be knocked out in 5

Was Fwank / Powell involved in this matchup - seems like the sort of sh*t they sell to the British public every week!

Don't think theres much between them. Jennings/Sykes are a good comparison, both feather fisted at world level with just enough skill to get by outpointing people at domestic level. At world class they're no way near strong enough or with enough power to pull it off. Plus Cotto was more proven than Broner is, who only just got by Ponce De Leon contraversially despite all the hype.

It's official Richard Schafear (however it's spelt) confirms that Broner vs. Sykes is on the undercard of Khan vs. Peterson II, May 19.

    Twitter it...
