His managment team which includes Fwank which means the fight will never happen.

No doubt you and Ricky would take the fight....but I don't beleive some of the team have as mich faith in Ricky as you do.

Learn to read, I didn't say YOU were jealous that's aimed at others dismissing Gary Sykes if this fight is indeed true. You just stuck the boot in...why? Does your inflated ego as a renowned coach need stroking?

In terms of the 3 offers of sparring, you didn’t ask the coach. Am I lying? Have you even got his number? I don’t care what Chris Aston said, you didn’t ask the coach. Who sorts your sparring, you or FW??? Gary Sykes was a SF novice*at 3-0*and sparred Amir Khan who was 14-0 at the time, and a LW on fire. He sparred him twice, Amir took no prisoners as Sykes got paid. Khan and Burns are on different planets, Gary Sykes will fight anyone, he’s proven that. Gaz a few years ago also sparred Choi, who very few people would spar with. As an amateur he boxed at world level, was in the qualifiers for the Olympics. He went in PF when he didn’t need to. Crazy or not, he put it on the line...are these all the signs of a fighter who won’t spar Burns?

I’m not knocking Burns or you, he’s a great fighter, but you basically said Gaz wouldn’t even spar Burns, I find a coach to disrespect fighters poor taste. You make out Burns is this fearsome fighter, we know you struggled at SF but why not move up earlier, why suddenly when Broner is mandated run?

If Gary Sykes has been offered a massive fight – why Hijack the thread and turn it into the Billy Nelson thread, as you always do on boxrec or here? You had a chance to both fight Sykes and Broner, and declined both. I’m not saying Sykes beats Ricky, but March 2010 you’d nothing concrete re Martinez, Burns was inactive, why not just fight Sykes for the vacant British and beat him up, pick up a belt actually worth having, then beat Martinez? Instead you fight Al Hamidi again when no one is watching?

No one is saying Sykes beats Broner or Burns, no one, but you chip in inferring Gary Sykes didn’t have the balls to spar Ricky Burns. And I’m saying you didn’t ask the coach. Is that a lie or did you? A simple yes or no will suffice not insults.

Mate i know you will be aware of the rules and regs of the BBBC (NOT) were a boxers manager must be approached hence we called Chris Ashton for the sparring.
The reason we never fought Gary is we got offered Martinez which is a much much bigger fight,whatever you think Ricky would have beat Gary imo with ease.:hi:

Broner a great fighter and you knew it, so did FW hence why you ran up to LW...had Broner been not mandated you'd have had another soft defence and you know it
