    Buckland is hooking away, mixing it up to head and body. Sykes is ducking inside trying to body up against Buckland and then taking long lunging steps back outside when it doesn't work. Sykes's balance is tenuous at best as a result. Buckland just rolls side to side, firmly anchored and throwing pinpoint power punches. Sykes is pushing out fast but light arrrrrum punches while backing up. BIG UPPERCUT by Buckland.     Buckland with a lot of hooks he's a hooker right now! Buckland digging to the body with the left hook, left to the head. Sykes comes back with a right hand.     Buckland is walking on blocking jabs and poking out his own. Sykes is ducking and backing up, keeping his jab flowing from distance. Body shots by Sykes. Buckland is loping along after him and flailing away at him as he gets close, but landing less crisply than he was before. Sykes circles right and then backs Buckland off with a pair of scoops to the body. Buckland is taking his time getting in. Uppercut by Buckland lands partially on the chin but partially caught on the gloves of Sykes.

    Big right hand by Buckland, Sykes holds a bit. Buckland jabs, and leaps with a left hook to the body. Standing in the middle of the ring, and yes, the pace is slowing just a bit. Sykes backing up and the 1-2 lands. Sykes with a big right hand to the body. Sykes boxing and moving from side to side. Left hook lands, right hand misses. Buckland just holds. Sykes jabbing on the outside, big right uppercut by Buckland. Close round. I give it to Sykes.

    Buckland shoots the jab up and stays in close on Sykes. Hooks by both. Sykes works the body as Buckland answers in kind and goes for a few double jabs to the face looking to set up a right cross to the jaw. Sykes lands a good body shot and just misses a 1-2 as Buckland pulls his head back. Big barking flurry by Sykse from outside, waving his way into a clinch. Glove needs tape for Buckland. Sykes lands a long right hand, and Buckland lands a MUCH harder straight one as Sykes is pulling away.

    Looping right hand by Buckland lands to start the round, Sykes lands a right hand of his own. On the outisde Sykes lands a 1-2. Buckland seems to be losing steam, Sykes lands a 1-2 again, left hand to the body. Buckland holds. Nope! Back comes Buckland! Big RIGHT HAND! THEY TRADE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! Big left hook by Buckland! Big right hand by Sykes! Sykes backing up and trying to box again. Both having their moments very close round that one.

    Buckland is ducking some speed-bag flurries from Sykes on his way in and popping up and down throwing short punches. Head and body shots from Buckland. Sykes backs up and tries to trade with him. Buckland lands a few jabs about the face. They wrestle and shove off. Sykes is ducking and circling left as Buckland reaches out at him with straight shots. Right hand by Buckland. Sykes lands a soft uppercut to the chest and Buckland lands a HARD one to the chin as they lean together. Several jabs by Buckland and then a LEAPING ROY JONES LEFT HOOK TO THE FACE! Sykes hurt!

    Buckland lands a right hand and a left hand to the body. Both slowing down this round, Sykes not jabbing. He's on the outside not throwing, Buckland moving forward not throwing much either.
