Gary Sykes vs. Gary Buckland II RBR

Buckland is walking in with his chin down and hands up, working left hooks and right uppercuts to the body. Sykes is getting backed up but keeping his jab flowing out at Buckland. Sykes is missing most of his power punches and flashy combos. Buckland is hammering away, getting inside and forcing a brawl. Sykes has a left hook and right hand blocked. Buckland is a tightly coiled pressure machine. Sykes pecks with his jab into the guard while backing up. A pair of nice right uppercuts by Sykes, sliding along Buckland's bicep as they awkwardly collide. Left hooks to the body by Buckland. Nice cracking right hand whipping around to the side of the head from Buckland.

Round 9

Buckland shoulders his way into Sykes and sets up shop for body shots and right hands over the top. NICE right uppercut by Buckland. All Sykes can manage is some slaps while leaning back. Buckland is hurting Sykes with body shots. Clubbing right hand up top by Buckland. BIG uppercut to the jaw by Buckland. All infighting, all Buckland. Sykes slaps now while trying to flop forward into Buckland, no longer seeking the separation. Buckland shoulders up and throws another uppercut. Sykes flees briefly and then leans back in. Sykes can't make up his mind. He isn't safe anywhere. Constant body shots by Buckland. Sykes slaps at the body, nowhere near as damaging.

Sykes is out behind his jab, getting his arms out around Buckland as the challenger gets inside. Sykes slaps his arms across Buckland's head while keeping him wrapped up. Big shot for Sykes leaning out, gets Buckland's attention.

Round 11

Wrestling, interspersed with nip and tuck body shots both ways. Buckland is muscling Sykes back and trying to hook him high. Slap-down shots by Buckland. Sykes is ducking inside with his gloves over his head. Buckland chops away, and lands a left hook to the body before they clinch up. Sykes opens up and eats a BIG right hand around the side. Buckland keeps forcing him back and hooking him in the middle. Sykes tries to slap his right arm down across the back of Buckland's neck to get free as Buckland tackles him backward. They trade long head shots and Sykes is stunned, needing to hold. Slapping right by Sykes while breaking away before Buckland starts to hammer back at him and cause him to hold again.

Round 12

Furious exchange! Clinch! Sykes puts up a rainbow right! Clinch! Buckland carries him across the ring slung halfway up over his shoulder. Sykes digs to the body. Buckland just keeps shoving forward and misses a big uppercut. Clinch! Right hand by Sykes lands flush but softly! Buckland keeps diving in, head pinned between his own gloves. A few high chops by Buckland but not landing much clean. Sykes keeps alternately leaning in and flurrying out. Buckland grabs him around the back, with Sykes' elbow in his throat. Each bangs the body of the other while pressed together. Buckland holds on while Sykes gives him a bit of a spanking on the rear of his belt. Buckland rocked by a right!!!!! It snapped his head around! Clinch!!
