    What he said

Although I'd like to see how Liam Walsh gets on against higher oppostiion to fully judge him but gut instinct says your right

I like Sykes. Quite a decent little fighter and good to watch despite lacking a big punch.

This will be a tough fight for him no doubt about it. He needs to use any edge in skills early on because it will be tough late.

Have to agree with you ishy! a.b.a juniors and seniors 15 undefeated pro bouts sykes is a clever boxer and make no mistake about it thats exactly what he is!Taking nothing away from oHara though hes a class act. Sykes will also be in front of home fans, which if you remember the Morris fight. They gave him great support. sykes to win

Think Sykes will win a decision in this tight event O'hara is a decent little fighter took Willie Limond and Ricky Burns to the scorecards and i think they are a level above Sykes So gary should win on pts but it won't be easy he will have to be on the ball all night.

Johansen has floored Sykes in sparring, thats why he has to put that ghost to rest(sykes words in an interview),however sykes has come a long way since then and CJ has gone downhill imo,i know hes back in training and apparantly doing well. i like Carl and he is well known for being a big hitter in the super feather weights, however i do feel hes left it a little too late.

The last thing to go is your power...:yep An ill prepared Johannsen was a whisker from getting Mitchell pulled out by his corner...:yep If he would have been on the money for that fight we would have not have had to wait for Katsidis to stop him...:yep

I meant long term. People saying he'd lose to Foster and others.

Starting to look forward to this fight, not sure how it can't be a good one. Sykes works a lot, O'Hara works a lot. Also i would favor Sykes against most Brit Super Feathers outside of Ricky who he would still give a tough fight.

Tough division at the minute think Ricky got his break at the right time a few banana skins in there for him imo.

Foster, Morris, Crolla, Lawton, Johannsen & O'Hara are all tough fighters. Oh and of course Steve Barnes :D

Any news on Cook if he is making a comeback?
