Rubio is taller. Height was a big disadvantage for Lockett in his fight against Pavlik though. That and Pavlik punches hard. I think Lockett has faster punches than Rubio. Might be a good battle.
OP's Lockett fascination is a bit worrying. His assertion that Lockett has a 'good punch and heart' frankly laughable. Lockett is retired. When he wasn't retired he only just scraped into a top five of British middleweights (and British middleweights are not great right now) and maybe into the top 50 in the World on a generous day.
Even if Lockett hadn't retired I don't think there is much chance the fight would ever have been made. Not unless Rubio wanted to fight or the WBU title. I'd take Rubio to win if it was though. Lockett was probably the most over protected fighter I can remember and whenever I heard his interviews he never even seemed to have any desire for decent fights, other than his big pay day against Pavlik.
